A belated Easter Post

Last weekend was a little intense, packed with busy days and I didn't get the chance to post pictures from Kalvin's home Easter Hunt. We had to hurry this along because we had just come home from church and Kalvin needed a nap before visiting the grandparents. We did have a hunt over at Grandma and Grandpa Mickelson's, but I forgot the camera at home... :(

We quickly explained to Kalvin his objective for finding the eggs outside, gave him an Easter basket and he was ready to go!

I love this picture so much! How obedient to stop and look at Mommy in the bright, bright sun when he really just wanted to find the rattling eggs.

Kalvin was lucky enough to get cap guns in his basket. He loved them, but found it VERY difficult to shoot (we may put them away till his hands and fingers are strong enough to pull the trigger).

He loves his new VERY long-lasting Gymboree bubbles. Look at Mommy--so pregnant...

Kalvin had a few minutes to look through his Easter basket and find the treats inside the eggs and loved every second of it.

I hope all had a Happy Easter filled with family, and thoughts of what Christs resurrection, and love.
