Update from NY

A couple weeks ago, while we were in Sacrement meeting at church, I heard Kalvin saying "Jesus". I looked down to see him pointing at a picture of Jesus on our program. I had Kalvin show Daddy who nonchalantly replied, "Yep, he's a smart kid."

Kalvin likes to jump from the tall kitchen chairs to the love sac. A couple days ago while Kalvin was doing superman from the tall chair, Duane suggested to him that he should close his eyes. The next thing I saw was Kalvin climb the chair with his eyes CLOSED, turn around WITH HIS EYES CLOSED and jump off backward (with his eyes closed), almost missing the love sac! It was pretty scary for me AND for him. He never closed his eyes the whole time again, thank goodness! We later taught him to close his eyes AFTER he climbed the chair.

Kalvin loves playing with the blocks Grandma bought him for his Bday! Everyday we build about 10 different trucks with them. Here's one of our creations! I built the base and he built the "trailer". He's getting pretty good with it!
